Almost a bit young at the moment. Tasting FEB20: Burgundian, straightforward, very complex, austerity and still character, salty, Unami, nice nutty finish, 4 years in bottle, a lot of pressure on the palate not strict. This Blanc de Blanc does not belong to the minimalistic, mineral-driven style, but rather is round and balanced with a touch of fragrant flowers. Complex and nuanced due in part to the barrel influence and a perfect pairing partner at the table — to more than just fish! Nicola FEB24: A slightly richer release at the moment, very generous, a somewhat noticeable influence of wood, dried fruits, brioche. Moritz FEB24: Light, but very nice reduction, nose and palate reflect each other perfectly. Salty, wet stones, white almond are predominant, with a background of some dried apricot. All very calm. Very subtle, perfectly integrated wood notes. The mousseux is round but precise, and the long finish is very chalky.

Cooked strawberry, strawberry leaf, and earthy umami notes offer an extremely diverse taste experience. The acidity almost dances across the tongue with a lightness that is invigorating. The finish seems endless. A rosé champagne for those who have dismissed rosé as trivial and are open to being pleasantly surprised.

Nicola FEB26: Aromatic, currently accessible phase (was previously tighter), balanced, fine multi-layered herbal notes, vinous, partly mixed with mature notes, great drinking pleasure with sophistication. Maria FEB26: Vinous, but nevertheless not heavy, rather fresh and lively with ripe fruit and herbal notes. Very complex, yet balanced and accessible. Giuseppe Lauria Editor-in-Chief WEINWISSER APR23: I enjoyed a good 1-hour adventure with this Blanc de Noirs. Because it changes in 10-minute intervals. Initially very restrained, it only reveals its facets with increasing airflow. After 30 to 40 minutes it really gets going: At the beginning only very delicate grapefruit notes, followed by yellow fruits like pear and a touch of marzipan, later bright and light red berries like raspberry join them, which skillfully blend into one with the distinctive sea breeze exciting piece of finesse to be captured in the finale by fine spices such as fennel. An elegant champagne with great evolution in the glass. 17.5+/20-2029 Lukas FEB23: On the nose raspberry, pear and ripe peach with hints of melon and grapefruit in the background. In the mouth juicy lemon and grapefruit, some pear and lemongrass, plus a present and crisp acidity that gives a lot of traction and makes for a great drinkability. A lot of potential for the future, a lot of fun in the glass and a joy to drink right now, but also a very capable food companion. Nicola JUL21: Incredible fragrance that draws you in, very beautiful, subtle honey note, very exciting soft-spicy beguiling, very own aroma, also again wonderful food companion, has something sweet (not sweet), something red-fruity, very light red cherry, red pepper, slight maturity.

The long finish leaves a beautifully chalky/mineral aftertaste, which gives the champagne even more grip and length.Nicola JUN22: Perhaps the chalkiest, most mineral of the range, but again with that beautiful ripe fruit note. Half of the wine was aged in used barriques whose wood came from their own forest. The other half aged for eleven months in amphora. No malolactic fermentation, no fining, no filtration. The yeast aging on the bottle is at least 22 months. The name Causica derives from a subspecies of honeybee that has a special hairiness - similar to the leaves of Pinot Meunier. Causica smells invitingly of cookie and peach cream, with an exciting smoky undercurrent to everything. The palate shows plenty of structure as well as a fine red berry quality that lingers long on the grippy finish.

We chose them for their identity, their quality and their distinctiveness — the best representations of our terroir You already know Soliste Meunier, Infusion Meunier Rosé, and this year we are introducing Soliste Pinot Noir. Next year, we will complete the range with the new Soliste Chardonnay. Soliste Pinot Noir comes from our “Les Gayères” plot, located on the upper part of the midslope of Pierry, facing west. It was planted by my father in 1974, on cool Sparnacien clay soil, a characteristic soil of the region that includes freshwater quartz stones (historically prized for use in millstones) and contributes to the distinctiveness of wines from Pierry. The Pinot Noir here matures late and benefits from the setting sun to refine its aromas at the end of the harvest. This plot also provides the red wine for our Solessence Rosé cuvée. 2015 was a hot and dry vintage in Champagne. The harvest was done in early September under the sun and we brought in excellent quality. We noticed that this pinot noir was particularly expressive and long. It seemed that this vintage suited this parcel particularly well, with its late-ripening terroir allowing the fruit to benefit from a longer September ripening. It was the first vintage of this cuvée and we have made an effort to reproduce it every year since. Nicola MAR26 (2020): Red fruit, lots of energy, body, earthy, powerful aromas, yet elegant, lots of presence.Tilman MAR26 (2020): Earthy, dark, mineral, yet very clear and precise, very slight berry notes. Strong! Lukas FEB23 (Vintage 2018): On the nose hints of pear, red fruit and yellow peach. In the mouth light smokiness, fine spiciness, ripe apple and ripe yellow fruit, in the finish grapefruit and some juicy peach, acidity rather subtle. Very delicate and animating.
