Three Vintages, Three Styles: Vintage Package
Three vintages, three producers, three very different interpretations of Champagne. With this package, we want to show just how differently vintage and origin can express themselves in the glass. 2013, 2016 and 2019 represent three very different years, each interpreted in its own way by the respective winemaker.We start with Labruyère Edition XIII from 2013. A vintage shaped by a rather cool and late growing season, producing Champagnes with plenty of freshness, tension and structure. At Labruyère, these vintage characteristics meet the precise and distinctive style of the house.Next comes Grumier Les Plates Pierres 2016, from a year marked by challenging and changeable conditions that required plenty of sensitivity from the growers. Grumier offers his own interpretation of the vintage, bringing together origin, maturity and structure.The final bottle is Bertrand Delespierre Villedommange 2019. A significantly warmer vintage, known for ripe fruit, concentration and, at the same time, surprising freshness. In our opinion, 2019 is showing particularly well at the moment, offering a wonderful combination of maturity, tension and drinkability.Three bottles, three vintages and three different styles. That is exactly what makes exploring Champagne so fascinating.
