Séverine Cautel's grandparents owned a vine nursery and sold vines to Philippe Copin's family. Philippe and Séverin met and fell in love at secondary school and now cultivate these vines together. Philippe is mainly responsible for the vineyard and cellar work and Séverine for marketing and administration.
The 7 hectares of the domaine are located in the village of Vandières, where Philippe's grandfather co-founded a co-operative. He also helps the couple with the expertise he gained there. Copin-Cautel champagne is intended to bring people together. The labels show photos of the family, with which special emotions are associated, and the names of the champagnes, such as "Les Coudes sur le Zinc" ("Elbows on the Table"), promise a relaxed atmosphere and community.
The drinkable, juicy champagnes, characterised by yeast and a subtle use of wood, invite you to bring family and friends together and have a good time!
