Delphine Laborde represents the 13th generation of a winegrowing family in Nogent-l'Abbesse on Mont de Berru, a small, historic terroir northeast of Reims. After more than twelve years of professional experience at Bollinger, Veuve Clicquot and the Comité Champagne, she founded her own Champagne house together with her husband Pierre-Emmanuel in 2018. Her goal: to express the exceptional Chardonnay terroir of her home with the greatest possible precision and authenticity.

Across the 5 hectares of vineyards, Chardonnay clearly dominates, accounting for 95 percent of the plantings. Many of the vines are 35 - 50 years old. Some of the vineyards also originate from old massal selection: a valuable heritage that preserves genetic diversity and gives the wines a distinctive character of their own. Sustainable viticulture is a matter of course for the Laborde family: no herbicides, chemical fertilizers or insecticides are used.

In the cellar, Laborde follows an equally purist approach. The base wines are predominantly vinified in small stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and elegance, while selected cuvées are partially aged in oak barrels. Each plot is vinified separately in order to express its individual origin as faithfully as possible. The result is refined, mineral Champagnes with great precision, fine texture and generous drinkability.
