Thibaud Brocard is a free spirit who strives with immense dedication and energy to produce the finest champagnes from his vineyards and the grapes that grow there. On the one hand, he draws on the wealth of experience of his family, which has been producing champagne since 1932. On the other hand, since taking over the domaine in 2012, he has also brought his own ideas and vision to the table.

Although not certified, Thibaud cultivates his 6.5 hectares of vineyards sustainably and according to organic and biodynamic principles. Thibaud sees this not only as a responsibility toward future generations, but also as the foundation for an authentic champagne style. This is another reason why his focus is on single-varietal vintage champagnes, with Pinot Noir being Thibaud’s greatest passion. The base wines are primarily aged in stainless steel; contact with oxygen is avoided as much as possible, and dosage and sulfur additions are kept to a minimum

As a result, Thibaud Brocard’s champagnes always have a mineral-salty core; the soils of the Côte des Bar, not far from Burgundy, with their high limestone content, lend them both fullness and a creamy texture, underpinned by delicate yeast notes. Brocard’s powerful and complex champagne thus promises longevity while remaining a great pleasure to drink.
