Maison Lefébure Nos esprits libres & contents
70% Meunier, 30% Chardonnay Dosage: 3g/l From two plots in Petit Morin (age of the vines 70 years) Fermentation and aging in wood (11 months on the fine lees without battonage) Spontaneous malolactic fermentation Hand riddled Disgorgement a la volée"Nos esprits libres et contents" is a song by the 17th century French court composer Antoine de Boësset. Nicola NOV23: Incredibly juicy and "gschmackig", with a beautiful finish of yeast & brioche, long nutty aftertaste. Great multi-layered fruit, extremely pleasant. Moritz OKT22: Rustic-modern describes the Nos Libre Conton pretty well. A vinous body and aromas of speculoos meet a coniferous forest etherealness and wonderful minerality. Despite the incredible complexity, the wine remains accessible and has an incredible drinking flow. A tart, fruity finish lingers forever in the mouth and invites you to dream. Nicola JUL22: Herbal-spicy nose, apricot, plum, rich, great food companion, dark berries, fresh leaves, has pressure, ripe red-cheeked apple, something is stirring here.

The harmony of flavors." Nicola FEB24: A really great balance with lovely austere fruit, taut, grip, gritty yet still juicy with a nice flow. Moritz FEB24: The nose shows a relatively tart red fruitiness, predominantly wild strawberry and rosehip. The mouthfeel is very juicy but gains a lot of tension from the tight acidity. Here too, the fruit is again on the tart side, which makes it a very serious rosé. The taste lingers forever in the finish. A really great drinking flow! Lukas FEB23: On the nose raspberry, strawberry and some peach. In the mouth raspberry and currant, backed by a very nice acidity and light notes of yeast and wood. Very nice drinking flow with good freshness, makes a very good food companion. Tasting JUL21: extremely juicy, light tannins, rosé character yet fresh Tasting FEB20: Basis 2017 - Soft and very harmonious, different components all perfectly integrated, despite beautiful fruit you don't think of fruit, fruit etc.

Maison Lefébure Bacchante Rosé de Saignée
100% Pinot Noir Dosage: 3g/l Single vineyard "La Poterie" in Petit Morin (age of the vines: 70 years) Mashed by feet and macerated 48 hours on the skins Fermentation and aging in wood (11 months on the fine lees without battonage) Spontaneous malolactic fermentation Hand riddled Disgorgement a la volée Dosage Extra Bru Moritz OCT22: A rosé with a lot of character! The baroque style is characterized by a subtle smokiness and notes of cassis. With a little air everything gets a little fresher and a playful red fruit, mountain pine and dark cedar wood appear. The champagne also shows its complexity on the palate. The variety of aromas is carried by a playful acidity, which brings incredible tension. This is not a fresh and fruity summer rosé, but a champagne with a strong character, which is also a good accompaniment to food. Winery description: The initial nose reveals a velvety texture enhanced by notes of toasted bread, Bigarreau cherry, sloe, blackcurrant, cassis with aromas of peony and rose. As the champagne aerates, notes of candied blackberries, wild strawberries, blood oranges, licorice and peppermint are added. The attack on the palate is soft and fresh, with a creamy perlage. The champagne develops an enveloping fruity substance supported by an acidity of pomelo and wild berries. The mid-palate shows harmony and a chiseled character between dry, fruity and woody substances. The juicier and airier finish picks up the aromatic richness with the precision of a finely extracted fruit juice.
