The Tocade has a dosage of 32g / l, which is the lowest amount for the Demi-Sec category, so in addition to the sweetness an invigorating freshness is preserved. Tastes of candied citrus fruits, acacia honey, a little bit of mint with a lot of finesse and harmony. For the assemblage, the most harmonious and accessible wines of the vintage are refined with a good 30% reserve wines and, after bottle fermentation, matured for at least 2 years. The result is a subtle champagne with fine citrus notes and floral nuances. Nicola FEB24: Delightfully nutty, crispy, spicy, nice light fruits, catchy, really fun to drink. Moritz FEB24: On the nose, something vegetative but also lime and a very fine nuttiness. On the palate, fresh and juicy. The nose is well reflected, but everything is carried by a chalky film that brings a great momentum. Lukas NOV22: Fresh notes of spices and apple-pear juice on the nose, juicy apples with a nice spiciness in the mouth, has tension and makes you want more Tasting FEB20: Lots of structure, nice creamy finish, very long, massive, crisp, not so soft, spicy, strong character, lively acidity well integrated at the back. On the palate, the champagne shows its backbone. The acidity is powerful yet does not lose its elegance. A fine spice and tart red apple also dominate the taste, indicative of a perfectly managed use of wood. The endlessly long finish leaves beautiful mature flavors on the palate. A great companion to food.Nicola FEB24: Very aromatic, rich in extract, herbal, minimal sherry aftertaste, biodynamic touch, a slightly wilder release than in previous years.Moritz OKT22: Fresh, spicy and with a skilful use of wood, the bar is set extremely high with this ‘entry-level’ champagne.
