The base cuvee from the Moncuit domaine is produced using only wines from the Sézanne vineyard. The soils there, according to Nicole Moncuit, tend to be sandier with a higher chalk composition.

Antonio Galloni Vintage NV – 90P: This is a terrific entry-level wine in this range. Orchard fruit, chamomile and dried flowers are all laced together in a vinous, creamy Champagne that is hugely appealing. There is lovely depth and texture here. Floral and tropical notes add an exotic flair on the close.
