Nicola MAI22: Has something mild and light-footed, but also great vinousness and spice, very balanced, very drinkable, aromatic in combination with polished, very nice finish, acidity perfectly integrated, very pleasant!
Andreas JUL22: It starts off with a bang / has power and dark berry aromas / immediately appealing – sticks well to the glass / seems masculine but not macho / then a grippy texture creeps up from behind and skilfully slows down the fruit on the tongue / a ‘what was that’ feeling develops, followed by a ‘but that was good, I'll try another glass’
Moritz OKT22: Rustic with a modern twist describes Le Meurgers very well. A true charmer. The delicate red fruitiness and light spiciness that the wine reveals are playful and beguiling. The mousseux is full-bodied and encourages drinking. Fun in a glass.
