Peter Liem: Although the Chardonnays from the Aube are usually much fruitier and rounder than those from the Marne and Côte des Blancs, the Éloquence is characterised by being very austere. It is characterised by the typical acidity of Chardonnay and is an intense terroir champagne. In good vintages, it is one of the best produced on the Aube.
