Vauversin Orpair 2019 - Bio
100% Chardonnay Dosage: 3g/l 3 years of bottle maturity  12 months aging in used oak All champagnes have been vinified with indigenous yeasts and with no filtration. They are low in sulfite (less than 35mg/l)! Riddling by hand in natural cellar! Tilman FEB24: Floral-frischer Beginn, dann mit leicht oxidativer Aromatik immer komplexer werdend, mit schönem Zug und würzigem Finish.  Tasting JUL21 (base 2016): powerful and spicy, lots of power, nice use of wood, expressive, exotic aromas, open aromatics but not too ripe, subtle spiciness, long finish. Tasting FEB20 (base 2014): 2014 has less acid than 2013, which makes it a bit more accessible, the wood aroma is beautiful, extremely long, nutty finish. High tension, like a whole feature film so complex, super nice spiciness - but rather delicate spiciness, prancing length. Tasting JUN19 (based on 2013): very independent, ethereal, floral, calm but resounding. Clean and gentle, yet powerful. Aromas cannot be grasped, with every sip of new flavors, always extremely harmonious. Light-footed, very long, somehow poetic. The acid is medium-strong, but still gripping, then melts off nicely, so that you catch up with the next sip. If he breathes longer he gets very delicate, extremely charming notes of milk candy - addictive potential!

René Geoffroy Cumières Rouge Les chalmonts 2019 - Stilwine
100% Pinot Noir Terroir: Clay and lime, with fragments of flint. Selection of very early-ripening plots above Cumières Average age of the vines: 45 years Wine making: Harvested and rigorously sorted by hand. Maceration and winemaking in an open oak vat with immersed cap. Matured for 10 months in demi-muid casks and barrels before aging in stainless steel vats, in the cellar at a constant temperature. Malolactic fermentation in barrels; no fining, no filtering. Tasting: Colour: brilliant, deep red. The nose is typical of the Pinot Noirs of the Terroir of Cumieres with some morello cherry (griotte) coming through. In the mouth a smooth balance is formed between red fruits and silky, delicate tannins. Antonio Galloni Vintage 2012 – 93P: The 2012 Pinot Meunier is bold, punchy and vibrant. A rush of sweet red cherry, game, tobacco, licorice and earthy notes give this mid-weight red surprising nuance. The 2012 is remarkably fresh for a still red wine that is nearly ten years old. This nervy Cumières Pinot has so much character. I absolutely loved it. Daniela Dejnega 2022: Coteaux Champenois Rouge at its best. Geoffroy's Pinot Noir vines in the "Les Chalmonts" site are on average 45 years old. On the clay and limestone soils above Cumières, the grapes ripen early. They are strictly selected and fermented in open wooden vats, partly with the stems. The red wine is aged in barrels, without sulfur, fining or filtration. The bouquet is elegant and red berry, sweet and sour cherries, some tobacco and autumn leaves. Very fresh on the palate, silky, ripe tannins with fine grip, red-fruited again and a hint of cocoa. Needs time in the glass!

In the mouth juicy, hints of ripe orange and blood orange, again some fine spiciness and fine ripe yellow fruit in the background, very full-bodied. Nice acidity and fine balance between slightly riper fruit and juiciness. Etienne Sandrin Beauregard 2019 - Bio
100% Pinot Noir Single vineyard Beauregard Biodynamic farming Spontaneous fermentation Dosage: 0g/l 2-3 years bottle aging Etienne describes the wine beautifully: "The whole description of the wine is contained in this name "Beauregard": A beautiful look is at once gentle, subtle, delicate, without frills, without mascara. In short, its natural beauty is sufficient unto itself. Beauregard has this in its genes and especially in its soil. We are on the first subsidence of the Upper Kimmeridgian, directly under the Portlandien, whose rock is found in the upper part of the plot. In other words, we are on "pebbles" with white clay and a not very deep soil. So the wine immediately becomes more discreet, fine and subtle. The Pinots Noirs of Beauregard then give a delicate fruit, like cherry or currant or even raspberry. Being on the north side, we also get a lot of freshness. In short, it is again a whole new flavor, in the range of "Parcellaires" of Sandrin champagnes. Nicola OKT23: For Sandrin's calm and reserved champagnes, relatively expressive with singing fruit, straight and mineral.

Lukas FEB23: In the nose ripe and spicy yellow fruit, some smokiness in the background and floral aromas reminiscent of chamomile and herbs. In the mouth, the herbal notes are in the foreground, along with some warm yellow fruit and a bit of ripe peach and apricot on the finish. Very juicy, acidity rather more present in the background.

Etienne Sandrin Le Bruyant 2019 - Bio
100% Pinot Noir Single vineyard Le Bruyant Biodynamic farming Spontaneous fermentation Dosage: 0g/l 2-3 years bottle aging Le Bruyant from the parcel of the same name is also available as a still wine. Since 2019, this parcel is always vinified in two ways. The generosity of the terroir of Le Bruyant consists of deep brown clay, resulting in a particular expression of Pinot Noir. The parcel is located directly across from Mouille-Brant, af the other side of the river on a lower slope facing north. This makes the wines particularly fresh, restrained and delicate. The vineyard Mouille-Brant, facing south, is more for exuberance and aromatic explosion.

Bonnet-Ponson Le Jour V18 Brut Nature - Bio
100% Meunier From the Premier Cru single vineyard "Le Jour" in Vrigny. The vines were planted in 1971 on a clay soil with a limestone underground. The base wine was fermented spontaneously and matured for nine months in four-year-old 228 and 400 liter barrels. With malolactic fermentation. Without sulfur Dosage: 0g / l 05/2019 filled and 03/2021 disgorged. Nose: The Le Jour, a champagne made from Pinot Meunier, shows from the first moment a deep sensuality and an inviting aroma, which combines a white-fleshed ripe fruit and yellow kiwi with a cool stone and tart herbs. Above that there is a scent of pastries with creamy lemon, a little caramel and black berries. Palate: The sensual impression of this champagne continues on the palate. Although disgorged as a Non-Dosé, there is a fine sweetness of ripe fruits in this champagne. White-fleshed stone fruit and pome fruit as well as a few lemon schnitzel, nuts and a little celery, blonde tobacco and rock are shown here. The absence of sulfur makes the champagne look very open and inviting. The mouthfeel is silky, the acidity is rather subtle. On the other hand, there is a wonderfully lively minerality with a fine saltiness, which accompanies the fruit right through to the finale. Food recommendations from Christoph Raffelt: Black rice salad with zucchini and fried prawns Sheep's cheese cream, salad made from small cucumbers marinated in olive oil, toasted bread Sweetbreads with yellow kiwi and chartreuse

R. Pouillon Le Montgruguet Extra Brut Premier Cru
100% Pinot Noir Some of the most famous individual vineyards of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ are located on the Montgruguet hill, including Sous le Mont, known from Anselme Selosse, and the famous Clos des Goisses by Philipponnat. Pouillons "Le Montgruguet" comes from a parcel above Les Goisses, where soil was once eroded and a chalk island was left on the banks of the Marne. 2016 was the debut of this cuvée, from the two micro-plots La Croix Blanche and Varille. Future vintages should also include the individual vineyards Lieux dits Marolles and Sente des Demoiselles. Matured for 8 months in neutral wooden barrels With malolactic fermentation Dosage: 5g/l

Marie Courtin Cuvée Présence 2019 - Bio
2/3 Chardonnay & 1/3 Pinot Blanc Dosage: 0g/l Tasting SEP21: Soft, charming, discreet oak, harmonious, soft, very well integrated acidity. Pear, white flowers, floral (all typical of Pinot Blanc) - bottle is amazingly fast empty! :) Galloni NOV21 about Millésime 2016 - 95P: Bright, precise and nuanced with tremendous energy and tons of sheer class. Judging by the wines in this range, the Sans Soufre style works far better with white varieties than with red. The Présence sizzles with tension and mineral-infused energy. I loved it. No dosage. Disgorged: January, 2021.
