The Janisson-Baradon Toulette 2012 is an exceptional single-vineyard Champagne from Épernay in the Champagne region. The grapes come from the historic "Toulette" parcel, which was first planted with Chardonnay in 1947. These old vines yield particularly concentrated and aromatic grapes.
This Blanc de Blancs is made entirely from Chardonnay. The base wine is partially aged in oak barrels and does not undergo malolactic fermentation, thus preserving its freshness, structure, and mineral vibrancy.
With a very low dosage of approximately 2 g/l (Extra Brut), this vintage Champagne is precise, dry, and terroir-driven. The result is a complex Champagne with intense aromas, a creamy texture, and remarkable length.
