100% Chardonnay Dosage: 4g/l 6-7 years of bottle maturity 50% Vinified in oak A particularly harmonious combination of a large Chardonnay matured in the wood with the freshness and finesse of a classic champagne: ripe fruit, brioche, fine spice from the wood and a long finish with a delicate melt. Nicola FEB24: Generous, wonderfully integrated subtle wood notes, strong vibration, great resonance, very complex and layered. Excellent balance. Moritz FEB24: A really great release! Very fresh and complex on the nose. Notes of salt lemon, quince, a bit of menthol, - which over time develops in an After Eight direction, adding a slight chocolatey touch. On the palate, it's round and full-bodied but with a tight/electric acidity. Very long finish. Great drinking flow. Tasting FEB20: Full body, a lot of taste, complexity, slightly oxidative, a lot of yeast, ripe tones, stays in the mouth forever with a lot of nut aroma, herbal spice Tasting APR19: Very wow, monster with a lot of pressure, strong! Super creamy, generous, mineral, complex, really beautiful, honey, ripe fruit basket, to put in, cream, spices

Average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars
60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay Dosage: 6g/l Blended with 12 diverse base wines from 4 vintages 45-50% Reserve wine (20-25% vinified in small barrel) Terroirs: Terroir d'Ambonnay: Les Bermonts, Le Moulin, Les cheminots, Les Grandes Ruelles, Le Noyer saint pys, les secs, Les Fournettes, La pierre aux larrons, Les agusons, Les Beurys.... Average age of the vines: 30 Years Vinification: 70% in enamel tank, 30% in old barrel, 75% with malolactic fermentation, matured for up to 7 years on the lees Domaine's entry level champagne, one that nonetheless displays a challenging complexity. Crisp & fruity (primarily apple) and nuanced. 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, Dosage 6g/l Nicola FEB24: Ultra strong, complex, slightly matured flavors but spot on, extremely long, multi-layered, also a bit of a stony element which makes it even more interesting. Ultra balanced. Moritz FEB24: Even with the "entry-level" cuvée, one can feel the elegance and complexity that Eric skillfully wants to encapsulate in the bottle. Everything is very delicate, not too loud, yet very present. A harmony of marzipan, roasted nuts, chalk, and a light smokiness greets the senses. The palate brings out more of the fresh, chalky flavors, which suits the cuvée extremely well. An extremely long finish ties the whole package together. What is sold as an entry-level at Maison Rodez, without overstepping, could be the pinnacle in many other houses. Tasting FEB20: Very strong, made another leap forward since tasting a year ago, very dense, great Tasting JUL21: very complex release, very nutty, very layered, browned apple, slight ripeness, cool, great depth (Eric's language for minerality, chalk contact of vines, mouthfeel).

100% Chardonnay Dosage: 3g/l Vinified in oak barrels With malolactic fermentation Robert Moncuit started the Réserve Perpétuelle, which is always replenished with wines from the new vintage, in 2006. This cuvée, which is created in a similar way to the Solera process, is also 100% Chardonnay from Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger. Malolactic fermentation is not stopped. Each year, about 40 percent is removed and bottled. The duration of yeast aging is about five years. The style is complex and elegant, very finely balanced with three grams of dosage. Brioche and lime blossoms, on the palate the Réserve Perpétuelle makes proper pressure, has mineral traction and a lot of charm. High level.

84% Pinot Noir16% Chardonnay Dosage: 0g/l Juicy, salty, mineral and complex! The cuvée of annually changing portions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from pure Grand Cru locations was fermented in barrels up to nine years old. The Benoît Marguet champagnes are filled without added sulfur and without dosage. Description of Sebastian Bordthäuser about 2016: Nose: The Shaman by Champagne Marguet from the 2016 vintage has been on the lees for around two years and entices with a richly filled display: yeast braid, brioche and pretzel biscuits as well as a generous piece of butter outline the notes of autolysis, which are enhanced by fine notes of apricot with increasing ventilation in the glass . Stoved apples follow, which are accompanied by herbal spices with aromas of sorrel and Giersch. Grounded through the obligatory ground oyster shell, the nose can look forward to the first sip. Mouth: With a creamy texture and small-sparkling Mousseux in the first taste, it is initially a bit quick-tempered, which can be attributed to the short time after the disgorgement and will soon go away. The bread notes of sourdough and pretzels of pretzels are aromatically reflected in the nose. On the palate it is precise but by no means leptosome, but with a good juice and joyful appearance. Its mouth-watering saline vein nestles around the slim acid nerve and, in combination with the fine phenolic, gives it its non-slip, non-slip feel that accelerates its drinking speed immensely. Fruity and tart with animating notes of red, ripe apple in a long, smoky finish. Food Pairing: - Ravioli with young spinach in nutmeg butter and crumbs - Mussels with french fries - Fried chicken wings with red fermented tofu

Nicola MRZ23: Rich, feel good, honey, walnuts, the low dosage also makes it fresh and addictive for the next sip, chimney champagne, brioche, nougat, apple strudel.

100% Chardonnay Dosage: 3g/l Single vineyard "Les Biques" in Côte du Petit Morin Matured in wood Riddled and disgorged by hand ChaCha customer JAN24: This “stuff” was rated 10/10 for the nose. What's interesting here is the dialogue between smell and taste: as the temperature increases, the nose becomes more opulent to the point of ideas of spaghetti ice cream with strawberry sauce and shaved white chocolate! However, the taste remains somewhat royal; Clarity and melting, saltiness “meets” lemon juice. The melty components come late, as the drink becomes warmer. A beauty, not to mention the label... Nicola OKT22: Very clean nose, clean, precise fruit, crisp acidity nicely integrated, nice spiciness, gooseberry.
