The name is inspired by the historical book of the same name, "Les Dionysiaques" or "Dionysiaca," by Nonnus of Panopolis (5th century AD), a late antique Greek poet from Egypt. The work is a monumental epic in 48 books. It recounts the birth, youth, adventures, and triumph of the god Dionysus, particularly his journey to India to spread the grapevine and the cult of wine.
Jérôme Lefèvre: With this cuvée, the goal was to achieve the perfect balance between fruit, acidity, and dosage.
Nicola JAN26: A sweetness that simultaneously feels dry, baroque, and rich, yet balanced by freshness.
