A true charmer. The delicate red fruitiness and light spiciness that the wine reveals are playful and beguiling. The mousseux is full-bodied and encourages drinking. Fun in a glass.

40% Pinot Noir, 30% Meunier, 30% ChardonnayDosage 2g/lFrom Hautvillers (Premier Cru)Matured in wood for 1 yearBottle ageing: at least 4 yearsNo fining, no filtration, minimal addition of sulphurNicola Oct25: This bottle at the winery had been open for a few days, which made the otherwise somewhat creamy cuvée spicier and more robust. It has minimal, pleasant tannins that provide some grip, generous notes of ripeness and toastiness, and is always fresh and vibrant.Moritz FEB24: The nose emits a warm spice accompanied by dark berry fruits and a hint of red apple. On the palate, the champagne shows its backbone. The acidity is powerful yet does not lose its elegance. A fine spice and tart red apple also dominate the taste, indicative of a perfectly managed use of wood. The endlessly long finish leaves beautiful mature flavors on the palate. A great companion to food.Nicola FEB24: Very aromatic, rich in extract, herbal, minimal sherry aftertaste, biodynamic touch, a slightly wilder release than in previous years.Moritz OKT22: Fresh, spicy and with a skilful use of wood, the bar is set extremely high with this ‘entry-level’ champagne.

100% Meunier of which 1% Meunier Coteaux RougeDosage: 1.5g/l 20-30% reserve wines from perpetual reserve (start 2011)2 years bottle ageingTilman AUG24: The colour is relatively pale for a rosé due to the low proportion of red wine. The nose is initially reserved, opening up with air and revealing earthy, spicy and ripe fruit flavours. In contrast to other rosés, it is also significantly less red-fruity, with citrus zest and grapefruit instead. As always with Taillet, it has a lively and structuring acidity, which makes it light-footed. An unusual rosé with a strong character!

The second cuvée from the Moncuit domaine is produced solely using wines from the Le Mesnil sur Oger vineyard. Here too the wines are made from a single vintage. 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs Dosage: 6g/l Nicola OKT23: A little darker than Pierre Moncuit's Hugues de Coulmet, more body, more power, more grip, a little darker, more distinctive, more mineral Antonio Galloni Vintage NV – 93P: The Brut is effusive, bright and focused. The added dosage in the Brut version versus the Extra Brut lends texture and resonance while enhancing all the orchard fruit, citrus and floral flavors. Ample and broad, with notable depth, the Brut is a pure and total delight.

Here too the wines are made from a single vintage. 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs Dosage: 2g/l Awards: "Special wine of le Point" : 17,5/20 Nicola OCT23: Even more grip and character than the Delos Brut, cooler and darker in minerality Antonio Galloni Vintage NV – 92P: The Extra is fabulous. Bright and full of energy and sizzles with tension. Lemon peel, white flowers, mint and white pepper are all beautifully lifted. The Extra Brut really comes alive with a bit of time in the glass. It's a style that works so well at Moncuit.

50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir (from that 19% vinified as red wine) From two Grand Cru Terroirs: Verzenay und Verzy Dosage: 7g/l 3 years of bottle maturity Contains 30% reserve wines until 1968 Lukas NOV22: In the nose notes of apple-raspberry with some rosehip as well as hints of cherry and hay flowers, in the mouth apple-raspberry notes, in addition light grapey accents and some raspberry buttermilk, very animating, pleasant acidity and great drinkability. Perfect as an aperitif. Background Story from the winery: Marie-Noëlle likes that her Rosé is not a simple colored champagne but that it clearly marks the aromas of red fruits specific to Pinot Noir Grand Cru from Verzenay and Verzy. For this, she produces its red wine by harvesting the ripest grapes on a south-facing plot located at the bottom of the hills. The southern exposure brings a richness, breadth and body. But this excess of sun also pushes the vines to go underground to hydrate themselves. The accumulation of silt from the bottom of the hill covers the chalk to a great thickness, which deprives the vine of the minerality that Marie-Noëlle did not want for this cuvée. Blended at 19%, the red wine offers a champagne rich in fruity aromas. However, there was no question of making a sparkling red wine, so it was blended with 50% Chardonnay to bring elegance and freshness. But rather than drawing on the minerality of Chardonnay from Villers-Marmery, Marie-Noëlle went to look in these plots of Verzenay so that the chalk is not omnipresent and allows the fruit to express itself fully. The difficulty of this blend and the multiple recepied Marie-Noelle experienced before foinding the perfect blend she was looking for having made me think of the Codex of Leonardo da Vinci, So we decided to baptize the cuvée Léonard. It is therefore a Rosé Champagne that is both powerful and elegant, combining the richness of red fruits, the complexity of the blends and the elegance of our vinifications. Unlike his label companions, Leonard is not on a bicycle but he rides a motorcycle. A beautiful red-raspberry color Monet-Goyon from 1933 which is also in our tasting room. A motorcycle is a bicycle to which an engine has been added to give it power. And Rosé is Champagne to which we have blended red wine which brings all its power. So you understand why Leonardo is the only one on a motorcycle. The character is of strong build, and wears big boots and pretty leather gloves that connect him to authentic and strengh of the Pinot Noir, just like the rosé he represents. But it is no less smiling, attesting to the friendliness and elegance of our rosé.

All champagnes have been vinified with indigenous yeasts and with no filtration. They are low in sulfite (less than 35mg/l) Riddling by hand . Tasting: Named after Laurent's grandmother, therefore it is slightly higher dosed, as this was so popular in the past. But it looks anything but sweet, but extremely charming, clean, clear, playful, floral, a little fruity, beautiful!
