Just a lush and luxury-like feeling, drinking this wine. If this producer was more well known, it could easily fetch 80 Euro/bottle. I have som for tonight also, and I am looking forward to it. (92p)

We discover aromas of paprika, pepper, some stone fruit and damp forest soil. The mousse is very powerful. It is firm on the palate and shows very light ripe tones and a nice spiciness. On the finish, which, as with the other cuvées, just doesn't want to end, we find a nice, salty freshness.Nicola FEB24: Dark, earthy, full-bodied, still a little closed, salty.Tasting AUG22: Creamy with hints of butter croissant and very animatingly roasty. Initially a little rough and firm, air and time give it more and more drinkability and allow notes of Roiboosh tea, Palo Cortado, chocolate and nuts to shine through. Polarising but highly exciting!

Ideal pairing with seafood and savory dishes." Nicola FEB24: Iodine, salty, strong body, somewhat regrettable has something chocolatey in the finish. Moritz FEB24: On the nose, oyster shell, almost something maritime, as well as some mandarin like in the classic Solessence. It has more power than the "simple" Solessence, but is also somewhat lighter on its feet and fresher. Lukas FEB23 (base vinatge 2017 - Prolongue): On the nose complex with hints of dried fruit. On the palate ripe apple and some pear and hints of currant and black elderberry. Very nice acidity that gives this champagne a very nice draught and very long finish. Tasting FEB20 - Base 2014, 3 years longer ripening than Extra Brut, therefore extremely complex, long, very long reverberation: sings and vibrates, very nutty, almost creamy

Nicola FEB24: Wow, an outstanding release, taut with great maturity underneath, mineral, salty, slightly matured, superb. Moritz FEB24: Very profound nose. A harmony of: mint, lemongrass, salted lemon, grassy (green-spicy) notes. The palate is very balanced, with a very tight, gripping acidity. In the endless finish, there's a very subtle smokiness, which gives the champagne even more character and tension. A very strong release! Nicola FEB23: Generous release, full-bodied with racy freshness at the same time, slightly pleasant sweetness, really nice! Lukas FEB23: On the nose ripe yellow fruit and yellow peach. In the mouth juicy and full-bodied, with apple, pear and peach notes. The acidity integrates very nicely and makes for great drinking joy. Tasting FEB20: Basis 2016 - Very harmonious, complex big leap to the version last year, lots of structure and excitement! 100% Chardonnay Dosage: 4g/l 6-7 years of bottle maturity 50% Vinified in oak A particularly harmonious combination of a large Chardonnay matured in the wood with the freshness and finesse of a classic champagne: ripe fruit, brioche, fine spice from the wood and a long finish with a delicate melt. Nicola FEB24: Generous, wonderfully integrated subtle wood notes, strong vibration, great resonance, very complex and layered. Excellent balance. Moritz FEB24: A really great release! Very fresh and complex on the nose. Notes of salt lemon, quince, a bit of menthol, - which over time develops in an After Eight direction, adding a slight chocolatey touch. On the palate, it's round and full-bodied but with a tight/electric acidity. Very long finish. Great drinking flow.
