Contrées Champagne is a project by champagne producers Oliver Horiot, Elise Dechannes and Arnaud Lamoureaux.
The four bottles are made from 100% Pinot Noir from the same region - Les Ricey, but all come from different lieux-dits with different characters.
For the 2009 vintage, two winemakers produced wines: Olivier was responsible for Val du Clos and Escharère, and Arnaud for Val Bazot and Fragnoy.

All champagnes underwent the same vinification, bottled on July 22, 2011 and disgorged on June 14, 2019 after more than seven years of bottle ageing.
