In its prime, Moncuit produces a vintage champagne. These are matured for a particularly long time, far longer than most wineries do. Nevertheless, these elegant and highly complex champagnes are perfect for allowing them to mature further, they then develop an even creamier, more generous complexity.
Tasting FEB20: Much creamier, smoother, more generous than in 2010, there is generous honey and caramel notes in the optimal drinking window (which will certainly last 4-5 years before it turns into the perhaps even more beautiful mature aroma). The perfect feel-good wine with high standards!
Antonio Galloni Vintage 2006 – 94P: The Grand Cru captures all of the natural radiance of this warm growing season. Apricot, tangerine peel, mint and spice build in a rich, creamy Blanc de Blancs loaded with character. The 2006 is intense, but also has enough freshness to balance its more overt leanings.
