The Clos de l’Abbaye is a single vineyard of an half-hectare against the Estate, planted in 1956 in Chardonnay. His location and his chalky soil give to the grape an atypical taste. We use an environment-friendly method and have a low yield per year (35 à 40 Hl/hectare).
Tasting FEB20 - JG 2014: Incredibly complexy, subtle but pervasive, super-elegant, the premium wines from Doyard are all small pieces of art.
